New building for Business in Wind

Business in Wind is currently constructing a new company building in Barneveld.

This building stands out for its sustainability, innovation, and the use of parts from wind turbines. We have been able to supply the steel structure for this special project. The building has an area of 4,500 m² and is located along the A1 highway, close to the current office on Hanzeweg in the Harselaar industrial estate. The steel structure provides a spacious workshop for wind turbine maintenance, a large storage space for gearboxes, generators, and other parts, and four floors of office space.

Unique features of the building include a striking 28-meter high tower with a wind turbine nacelle on top at the entrance, a wind turbine blade integrated into the exterior of the building, and a reception desk made from a turbine hub and a telephone booth made from a piece of a wind turbine blade.

The building is expected to be completed in 2026 and will accommodate approximately 40 employees.
